Hey, easy on the sackbuts… From a Wisconsinite trombonist teamster: sliding on black ice dodging oncoming highway traffic in a white-out pales in comparison to the hazardous split-second thinking and timing involved sliding out that low-C precisely between the two french horns sitting in front of you. Did you know? Years of back-pressure causes premature arterial problems and heart disease among us brass players.
