Chris Matthews is an embarrassment to journalism…if it even exists any more. What a bozo. Here’s what gets my goat about news and news networks…including Fox I suppose. They don’t report news any more with any sense of what is really news. They report headlines and sound bites that will get people’s attention. That isn’t news, that is marketing the available activity of the day to improve ratings. I am a marketer, I know of what I speak. I would love for a start-up news network to really try to present unbiased news. Both sides of an argument when called for. Not sensationalized headlines to grab attention. Ratings are probably the worst thing that ever happened to real news programs. To bad…what we get now is the National Enquirer version of the news. Sigh!
